This coffee was originally planned to only serve as the base of the Energy Blend.
That was, until we cupped it.
We got a rush of Berry flavor followed by some Dark Chocolate to complement it. My first thought was like a Raspberry infused Chocolate Bar.(If that is a thing)
This Nicaragua La Bastilla is a 2022 Natural grown at an altitude of 1300-1500 in Jinotega, Nicaragua. It has a medium body with very mild acidity.
The lighter we roast, we find hints of melon popping up to accompany the berry notes.
Altogether, an amazing coffee for espresso or drip/pour-over.
